Poor old Gordon, though he tried to keep MP's expenses hidden he couldn't. The Conservatives wouldn't support him, neither would the Lib Dems and neither would a fair number of his own back benchers.
It's good to see a fair number of MPs get just how angry this would have made the British public.

Funny you don't mention your old mucker Derek Conway isn't it?
It should not require a FOI request if it is to be taken seriously. They should be published on the web.
Feel free to put your own expenses on your blog rather than keeping them hidden. I honestly believe you have nothing to hide, but words are cheap, put your expenses where your mouth is.
