I'm just back from the opening of the new gallery space at Hall Place. The event was organised by the the Arts Council of Bexley and attracted a very high range of paintings.Hall Place is a stunning building and if you haven't been I would strongly recommend it.

great, how many jobs is this house going to save?
Presumably people are employed in this art gallery and in the maintenance of the building. It might not replace 10,000 BT jobs, but at least they will have somewhere warm to go during their unemployment.
It has to be a better investment than Boris's £400,000 pay off to a useless police commissioner. Now that's a waste of tax payer's money.
