Apparently Boris has been hiding away.
He has been hiding away all over London. In the last week he has hidden in the National Housing Federation hustings, a meeting of the Foreign Press Association, the Newsquest Editors Conference, with shoppers in a number of high streets, in an interview on London Greek Radio and at a visit to the Husseini Mosque in West London.
The national press are more than a little disappointed, clearly for two reasons. Firstly Boris isn't lavishing all his attentions on them and secondly he isn't making the much sought after "gaffes" that would reinforce the media stereotype of him.
This must be a huge disappointment for them. Headline like "Johnson working hard and taking election seriously" isn't very exciting is it?

He doesn't have the guts for Question Time or Any Questions.
If he keeps his head down then London will elect a bufoon as mayor. With a monkey in Hartlepool and Boris in London the office of mayor will become a joke all across the country.

Ken has delivered significant improvement to London, much as I personally dislike him and many of his opinions.
Good to see you are accepting that Boris is a joke too. Why did you select one joke candidate to run against other joke candidate?
The sad thing is that the joke is on Londoners. And with the alternative voting system we all have to vote for one of these pathetic jokes - how depressing.
