Good old Hain

He just can't help himself.

Even though the leadership contest is completely internal to the Labour party he still manages to use the Conservatives as the bogey man (bad choice of words considering Gordon Brown's commons activities).

Poor bloke.

That is not what he said at all. He just said that some in the Labour party would prefer Cameron to Brown. Of course they only reflecting public opinion, but you can see why he might find this an odd thing to do.

You just wanted to use the phrase 'bogey man'. I don't think you should be so picky.

Hain would do better to understand why the most popular next leader of the Labour Party is sitting on the opposition benches. I think Cameron should formally announce that he will stand for leader of the Labour Party, all the rest are too scared of the clunking fist of snot.
