I always used to make the little joke of saying "as James Brown would say", so you can imagine how sad I am that the self proclaimed Godfather of Soul has passed away.
Watching footage of him from 20 years ago I have to confess to being amazed that he hadn't gone sooner. I don't imagine that resting in peace would quite be his style!
