For some reason there has been a big delay in processing the security element of many conference applications. For this reason I am currently standing in the rain tapping into a blackberry with a couple of hundred other Conservatives.
Not the best start. It also means that I am likely to miss the launch of blogging stand with Iain Dale, Tim Montgomerie and Jonathan Shepperd.

I hope if Cameron does visit your booth for some blogging advice you'll be able to help him. (Did he discuss the webcameron project with current Conservative Bloggers before launching webcameron?)
There's lots of suggestions for him online:

Sorry if you missed the blogging stand, James. But don't miss the latest on Secret Tory Funds: www.conservativecampaign.com
James - look forward to you joining us. It must be beyond irritating.
At least you got in. Its Tuesday morning and I've given up and gone home after waiting since Saturday night!
It was really sad to see some very excited first timers to conference stand in line for hours and then finally give up and go home.
I understand that Francis Maude was spitting tacks over this and did come to see the waiting crowd to apologise. Brave move.
Is this level of organisation going to be reflected in the way you run the country if/when you get in?
No change there then ;)
I suggest we all vote for The amazing Mrs Pritchard, and let someone else have a chance to be crap for once!
