Ming is in trouble... I think that's pretty funny, if not particularly "good" news.

Are these not all good news stories:
Government still more united than under Major or Thatcher.
Unemployment lower than when Conservative's left office.
More investment in state schools than ever before (not that this would affect your family)
Repossessions much lower than in the early 1990s - and no chance of being so high in the near future.
Inflation under control for 9 years and well below the levels during our days in the ERM
If you want good news it is that the Conservatives are not in government!
No news is good news and I have no news. In the spirit of turning a negative into a positive I catalogue Stephen Ladyman's travils. There's a hat tip to you James and I've added you to the elite that form my blogroll. It's also good news that Jimmy and his ilk are so out of touch.
Jimmy? Would that be Jimmy Tarbuck?
News can't get better than this:

From that BBC article:
"Ms Short said another reason she wanted to quit as a Labour MP was because she wanted to campaign for a hung Parliament and to encourage electoral reform.
She said Labour should hold a third of the seats, the Tories a third and the rest should be made up of Greens and other parties."
Interesting idea of electoral reform - where we just give Labour and Tories an equal number of seats. Sounds like we would not even need an election. It could be just like the House of Lenders (sorry - I meant Lords).
Campaigning for a hung parliament is going to be quite tough. How would you do it?
Make sure that everyone who votes takes a supporter of the opposing party to the ballot box with them?
Poor old Clair she has really lost the plot.
