Another Lib Dem has come across to the Conservatives. Sylvia Fortune was a Lib Dem councillor in nearby Bexley council and her move to the Conservatives follows that of Nick O'Hare a former Lib Dem councillor.
Up and down the country people are rejecting Labour and the Lib Dems and putting their faith in Conservative run councils because they know that Conservative councils are cleaner, greener, safer and cheaper.

Meanwhile, in Scotland, former Conservative PPC Robbie Rowantree has joined the LibDems and is backing them in the Moray by-election. (And in Birmingham, another Labour councillor defected to the LibDems.)
And, as I see you mention green issues, a poll this week rated the LibDems top of the three main parties on the environment.

Scottish politics is a world away from SE London politics and picking up disgruntled Labour supporters is like shooting fish in a barrel.

James Cleverly..Well you are right up and down the land that Labour is being rejected yet many find it intellectually annoying you are suggesting the same fate for the Lib Dems who polled 27% of the Vote for the second time and are clearly now heading towards being the second Party in our country with the terminal decline of Labour.
Also many many people see the Tories as and your new leader as Blair clone 2 and Labour 2.. Pretending to be a Party that you are not..ie LIBERAL..
