Some people assume the worst when I talk about Lewisham and while there are things that do need sorting out there are some fantastic parts of the borough. While out and about in Deptford I took some pics.
Personally, I think Trinity estate is not one of Deptford's beauties. Needs a lot of work done (as started under Labour regime). And Aragon Tower is pretty, but was disgracefully sold of by the Labour regime, replacing social housing with luxury yuppie flats, an agenda you're presumably happy with James?
I don’t have a problem with private housing and public housing side by side and the selling of some development land, if handled properly, can generate much needed revenue for the council. Remember yuppies need homes too.
Trinity is not too bad, I wanted to show the green spaces and trees which go a long way to breaking up the concrete jungle feel of some 60s council development. Labour have been spending some money around here but they are in big trouble here because no one that I spoke to while I was out had anything good to say about Labour either locally or nationally.

Wow, That ex-Officers mess is a real gem. I love that little bit of the reverbank, it's stacked with history.
